Well, they say for every thing there is a first step.  So, in keeping this fine tradition, I present my first post!

What is this blog about you ask?  I live, breathe and fantasize (luckily, my dreams are still entertaining and often involve fighting evil aliens) about technology and the amazing things that you can do with them.

Technology, being software and hardware, can enable you to change the world.  Embracing it and the necessary learning it involves is critical to surviving in this modern age.

What do I do?  Well, I am a jack of all trades when it comes to computers.  I am a network administrator (Small Business Server evangelist), Technician (I have a way of just understanding how things work and what is wrong when they stop working), Consultant (I read a lot about stuff in general, so I know a bit about a bunch of things and can help a lot), Technical Writer (knowing AND understanding as well as being able to communicate both is important!).  Sadly, I am just starting to embrace programming (C# and ASP.NET) so I’m hoping to put those to good use in the near future!

My hobbies include, videography, photography, graphic design, sound editing, video editing, compositing, etc.

Software?  I am a huge fan of Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 Production Premium (Oh, how I wish I could afford the upgrade to CS4!).

Anyways, I have more work to do on this site, so time to get to it!
